Unique Jewelry Gift Boxes!

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Finding everything I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception was a lot of work, but went I went to pick out a gift for I bridesmaids, I realized that the other things had only been half of the battle. I had a really difficult time finding exactly what I wanted to get for them. I went online and there are quite a few lovely gifts for bridesmaids and all that attend the reception. Narrowing it down was the big challenge. There were also a lot of great deals on thank you gifts that I found at a discount. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. I saved a ton on that. Instead of having to buy each piece separately, I was able to purchase it all together at a great low price.
I was just browsing through possible thank you presents when I finally came across something the women standing up for my wedding would like: a beautifully adorned jewelry box. As I looked, I discovered a variety of high-quality wedding jewelry boxes. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. The wedding favors for relatives and close acquaintances hadn’t been settled on, so I looked at doing that, and then there was also the matter of a wedding cake topper to look into. Bottle openers made of chrome in the form of birds of peace and salt and pepper shakers that looked like a couple on their wedding day were what I went with. The doves were really nice and they came in a very decorative package, so I didn’t have to buy favor boxes for them. My man got the groomsmen a neat little multi-purpose tool that had a tiny scissors and a toothpick and all kinds of weird gadgets.
We got a cake topper of pair of newly weds locked in a loving embrace. The newly weds were my ultimate choice, but I checked out a lot of options, and I nearly settled on one with crystals and initials written in silver. I had put it off while I took care of buying the rest of the supplies we’d need, but it was time at last to select a gift for the women standing up in my wedding. I did go with leather jewelry boxes for each of them, and also bought a piece of unique wedding jewelry to put inside. The piece I got each of the bridesmaids was a glittery rhinestone bangle. It may sound like that was a bit extravagant, but it wasn’t. There were a lot of choices of discount wedding jewelry available, which meant I could get them something really nice, and still save money. In fact I bought my pearl wedding jewelry to go with my wedding gown there too. There were some awesome bargains on very elegant jewelry items. The groomsmen were pleased with what my hubby got them, and the bridesmaids were thrilled with theirs.
All my dreams came true on my wedding day; it was absolutely glorious. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Might something come of it? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. Anything is possible!

There are a load of options available to you if you want to host a baby shower, and that number is expanding as the popularity and size of showers gets larger and larger. There are bath soaps and other creative baby shower gifts, like a diaper cake with pacifiers and itty-bitty toys all around it. It’s possible to work almost any baby item out can think into a snazzy diaper cake. Personalized baby shower gifts are always nice to give the mother to be. I’ve always felt that you can’t go wrong with a small box for the newborn’s first tooth and another one for his or her first curl. The boxes come plated with silver, and they are a wonderful thing for the mother to treasure. Many have a lining inside, usually pink for girls and blue for boys. Those small, unique things are what you want to always have a memory of, like the child’s footprints and handprints. You can insist on getting a good present and still find plenty cheap baby shower gifts to choose from. Some products are always needed by moms with a newborn. A lot of guests choose to buy baby clothes such as socks, shoes, dresses, etc. instead of going the more expensive route with cribs, strollers, or car seats. One thing’s for sure: the new mom can use all of them.
The best baby shower gifts are often the ones you utilize every single day, like diapers, a diaper bag, or a baby carrier. I shopped online and found so many items that every young mother has on her must have list. If you are the one who’s throwing the baby shower, make sure you get a little something for those who attend. A few memorable baby shower party gifts could include little picture frames or brag books. Or you may choose to give your guests little decorative favor boxes filled with chocolates or other candies. You have a lot of ideas to pick from when you’re getting a gift for your baby shower guests. You can find everything from adorable baby themed candles to scented soaps, which not only work well as thank you gifts, but make fantastic prizes in all the baby games you’ll play.

It’s easy, convenient and there is just such a fantastic selection of party favors to choose from for almost any occasion you can think of.

Terrific Memory Books!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Sometimes, we wish a day would last forever, and that we never forget those days. There is your bridal shower, wedding day, baby showers and so many more ocassions you want to hang on to the memories of. I have wedding memory books that I really cherish to help my relive those special days over and over again. I have my girls night out wedding book from the night my sister and my friends threw me a fantastic wedding shower. We took a lot of pictures that serve as wonderful reminders of what a fabulous night that was. I’ve got pictures of the lovely decorations they had for my party and all the places we went that night, and all the fun things we did. The camera doesn’t lie: we had a blast. Some of the exotic male dancers we saw posed for a couple of shots. They were really awesome up there on the stage. That was my only foray into the world of exocitc dancers, and it was memorable. They may not have been in Playgirl, but they were definitely worth seeing.
When I chose all the accessories and reception supplies for our wedding, I also made sure I had a memory book for our photos of the wedding and reception. We had no shortage of pictures to put in it. In fact I knew to buy a couple of them, so I’d have enough space for all the pictures. I ran out of space in the albums before the pictures were all filed. There were also pages for our guests signatures in one of the albums. We had my first initial and my husband’s first initial flanking the initial of our last name on the cover of our personalized memory books. The fabric on the book is very pretty, and with that and the satin ribbon on them, they really are quite charming. There are also refill pages available if needed, and we certainly need them.
I have picture books for every major moment that I’ve lived through. I don’t throw out my keepsake memory books, so I’m sure I’ll accumulate more and more. At the moment, I have books from my baby shower, wedding, and bachelorette party. My boy is one year old and my daughter’s about to turn three. We got her a pink book and him a blue one because we decided to find out ahead of time what sex they’d be. I keep everything from their christenings to their first steps in these books. I also keep their birth certificates and footprints in their baby memory books along with several pictures of their beautiful little faces. I also put an invitation in the shower books and wedding photo book too. I could open up a photo gallery with all of the pictures I have stored away.
My husband complains all the time about the space these books take up on our closet shelf, but it’s like this, I want to hold on to all the great and special moments in our lives, and the best way to do this is through pictures. Of course, now I’m going to be shooting home videos on a camcorder that I recently purchased, so I’m focusing on making space on some shelving in the living room. So now, with the albums we have and the ones we will probably have in the future and all the videos I plan to record, I’m probably going to need a lot more room than originally planned. What can I say, my recollections of the past mean a lot to me. The years ahead with our children are memories I want to hang on to for the rest of my life, and I definitely intend to.

An Exquisite Discount Keepsake Gift!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. The presents and favors I got everyone were things that could be treasured for a lifetime. The gifts I bought were meant to be reminders of what an outstanding wedding day and night we had together. I began by selecting keepsake gifts and moved on to things like a cheap keepsake gift. On the web, there are a ton of ideas and options for wedding and reception accessories and supplies. Whatever I needed for my reception, I found it there.
I had a florist come in and make up darling arrangements to put in the middle of each reception table, and alongside them were little ceramic pots with lace that held candles inside. I found those online along with the place card holders that were really exceptional too.
I elected to get place card holders with lovely beads on them that doubled as picture frames for everyone to take with them. As far as gifts for our guests went, I made sure I gave them all practical favors that would also make great wedding keepsake boxes. Giving out favors that have no practical purpose always struck me as a useless thing to do. Otherwise, the recipient of the gift will most likely forget about it shortly after they get it. I did my best to make sure that the gifts handed out to our relatives and other loved ones were going to be remembered. So I chose bistro coffee mugs for each of our friends and family’s gift. They attractive and you can get good use out of them, too. I didn’t even have to worry about repackaging them because the containers they came in were so classy-looking already; all I did was put a decorative hang tag on every one of them.
Reception supplies and accessories were easy to find on the world wide web. The cake topper we got ‘took the cake,’ so to speak. I opted to pick out one that would be significant to my groom and I.
When we met for the first time, it was at a friends house and we were all engaged in a little friendly game of football on the back lawn. So our first meeting was in the middle of a memorable tackle attempt on his part and I thought the topper I found with the bride and groom playing football was an excellent choice. This will be a cake topper that will be a keepsake for two reasons, one, the day we met and two, the day we married. [spin]I was really surprised that I had found such a novel wedding cake topper as this one was, and not only that, I also found gorgeous wedding

An Affordable Wedding Guest Book Set!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Wedding day preparations are always an exhilarating experience, but the number of choices for the décor, gifts, and so on also makes it a somewhat frantic one. I know that when I tried to assist my daughter in planning her wedding, the biggest challenge was trying to get her to settle on one choice. The initial decision was just the overall genre of the wedding: something old-fashioned, or a trendier style of ceremony. She studied every possible variety that we could think of, and she just ended up getting more and more confused. Some of the options she kicked around were doing a gardening theme or a sand and surf theme. Ultimately, our new bride opted to go with a pretty conventional wedding. When she eventually made that decision, it allowed us to get the preparations underway.
The invites had been delivered, the banquet hall for the reception was booked, and the church was rented out. She had her gown and the wedding party attire was all taken care of, so mostly what we had to concentrate on now, was the reception supplies and decorations. In addition to finding a wedding guest book and a picture album, there were some other things that we had to pick out yet. There was no shortage of wedding guest books to pick from, and the decorations on a big percentage of them were absolutely beautiful. A substantial number of the sign-in books had wedding pens that went with them, and they were just as pretty. Our new bride discovered a six piece wedding set with rhinestones that had bows and satin boxes, both white, as we were nearing the end of our shopping. Along with a ring pillow and wedding garter, which were very attractive, was a charming flower basket and unity candle. This gorgeous satin set also included a wedding photo guest book that also matched perfectly. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
The last things to take care of was place card holders, a wedding cake topper, and gifts for the guests. Everything else was taken care of. She chose a lovely wedding cake topper with two doves made of glazed porcelain. That wedding cake topper will make a lovely keepsake. Next we went for the place card holders, and for those my daughter decided to go with little silver picture frames for all of her guests at the reception. The people at the reception would be able to use the frames once the dinner was over, and my daughter thought that was a something they’d like. She did alright picking out her wedding accessories and reception supplies. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The wedding ceremony was absolutely fantastic and the reception was gorgeously decorated and got a lot of positive comments. When the bride and groom did their first dance, it was a stunningly beautiful moment. We all did a lot of dancing that night, and I swear my feet still hurt, but it was all worth it, it was a wonderful event that I will remember forever. My own baby, now married, may have a baby of her own some day. Well, when that day comes, I know exactly where I’ll go to get the supplies and shower favors for the baby shower I’ll throw. Anything you need to plan, any kind of get-together, is on that site. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.

The Most Elegant Wedding Unity Candle

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

There are so many options for wedding favors for friends and family attending your ceremony and reception. You may want to give your guests, place card holder picture frames, or perhaps a cute little novelty favor for whatever theme you’re having, or you can choose from lots more great ideas for your friends and family. I wanted to give our friends and family something that was gorgeous, but at the same time, something I knew they would use, so I decided on candle wedding favors. I found just the right wedding favor boxes I wanted to use and I also ordered special hang tags for each.
I added some wedding candle centerpieces to every reception table to add to the ambiance of the wedding. The wedding decorations with the candles and fantastic centerpieces made a great combination for my reception tables. You should see the fantastic candle holder wedding for bridal showers, and all the choices there are for candle party favors for graduations, birthdays and other important events. But there’s a lot more that candles and wedding favors at the place I shop at for wedding accessories.
I ordered my wedding guestbook and pen, flower girl basket and ring bearer pillow all together in one very inexpensive set, and they also included a beautiful leg garter to go with it. Buying it in a set was less expensive than buying each piece individually. That’s another thing I like about where I got our wedding supplies, the prices are so reasonable, and they even had discount candles wedding favors.
Our wedding cake topper was really spectacular and it didn’t cost near as much as we expected a customized cake topper would cost. They made the wedding couple on our cake topper look exactly like us and it was the talk of the reception. All I had to do was send them a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they did the rest. The three tiered chocolate wedding cake we had made was just gorgeous and was decorated with all red and pink flowers surrounding it. Next to our beautiful cake was the cake serving set I went crazy over, with it’s handles decorated in a gorgeous calla lily design.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. We figured it would make more sense to let our guests have them as souveniers then to try to find a place to put 200 champagne flutes. Besides, we were stocked with keepsakes from our wedding and reception, with our wedding guestbook, album, cake topper and more. Our lovely five piece set that I ordered in gorgeous claret, had our guest book with a small area for little keepsakes, pages for the guests to put their names and list the gifts each guest brought. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. It makes your guests appreciate the thank you notes with you remember what they gave you in way of wedding gifts.
I guess most of our guests really like the unique candle wedding favors we chose for their thank you gifts, some of them expressed their appreciation. I guess I picked out the right gifts. Everyone also told me what a great time they were having at the reception, and as we were leaving they all gave us their best wishes for a happy life. This day in my life, I will always remember and cherish.

Wonderful Bachelorette Party Invitations

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. The first priority was finding a engagement party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. I hit the jackpot there. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and party invitations, too, along with other things.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. The wedding guest book was another present I purchased; it would help the couple keep good records of who gave them which gifts. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. The place cards themselves had pink lilies on them, and then everyone got a handbag made of plastic and filled with candy in different-colored wrappers. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. Every person at the bridal shower took a gift from the platter, and it looked classy that way. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. It’s comical to watch that game unfold, and it’s a good way to see just how smart your friends are. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. Since the website also sold wedding invitations and favors, I let my friend who was about to get married know about it, since I was sure she could use a wide selection to pick from. So, maybe ordering her accessories and reception supplies from here will help her out in the planning and the finances. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending. Naturally, I bought the cards for thank yous over the Intenet as well. With all the web has to offer, I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party.

Elegant Mikasa Crystals

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

The wedding I went to last week was all set up with gorgeous mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. They had mikasa crystals and mikasa crystal glassware on every reception table. The bride really has excellent taste in wedding décor and knows how to set an exquisite table. The mikasa accessories she had really added sparkle and elegance to her already beautiful table settings.
They had little silver doves as the place card holders, and on the end of their tails were little place cards with a bride and groom printed on them. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. Their choice of wedding favors were something to acknowledge too. At every table setting was a lovely gift of mikasa crystal wedding favors. The favors boxes with the little thank you hang tags was almost as gorgeous as the mikasa crystal favors that were inside.
Deep chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese topping each of the five layers with the fantastic wedding cake they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. Since she ordered most of her wedding supplies and decorations from an online wedding store, she decided to check out the cake toppers too, and found out they customize wedding cake toppers. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. It was absolutely perfect. I had to find out where she ordered her wedding accessories from, the cake topper would be great for my mom and dads’ renewal wedding for their anniversary.
I think one of the funniest part of this whole thing was when it was time for the garter toss. Watching the looks on the guys faces as the groom removed the garter from the brides leg, was priceless. Then watching them fall all over each other, trying to be the lucky guy to catch it. The funniest part though, is that the winner of the garter toss was a widower in his 70’s that didn’t even want to participate in the toss. There was a big smile on the old mans face as he walked off with the garter in his hand.
To toast the bride and groom we were given champagne flutes that had the bride and grooms name printed on them with the date of the wedding ceremony, and we got to take these home as keepsakes of the celebration. After the toast it was time for the bride and groom to take their place on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. Watching them dancing together, so elegantly, was so moving. After their first dance was over, the dance floor was over run with couples. I think I over extended myself on the dance floor, my feet ached so badly.
We all wished the bride and groom good luck as they left for their honeymoon. One of the other guests told me they were honeymooning in Hawaii. Looks like their honeymoon will be just as fabulous as their wedding was. The remaining guests stayed behind for hours and continued to party.
I received my thank you note for my gift and my presence at the wedding and reception, after only two weeks. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. By the way, I did find out how she could afford a mikasa wedding favor and that fantastic cake topper. I’m ordering what I need for my parents anniversary wedding party today.

The Cheapest Affordable Jewelry Boxes on the Planet!

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

In my day, jewelry boxes were just a box that all the jewelry went in, but now, you can buy watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes and boxes that are specifically made for necklaces only. There are a lot of very decorative ideas for the many different types of boxes. The women who stood up in my daughter’s wedding all got a jewelry box from her, and she picked one out for herself as well. She purchased a lot of things besides that, including her accesssories and reception supplies. They have some pretty nice suggestions for wedding decors, from traditional to themed. The décor my daughter and her groom went with had a fairy tale look and feel to it. She really did look like Cinderella at the ball in her lovely wedding gown and long veil, and I must admit my son in law looked just as good as Prince Charming in his stunning tux. It really was a beautiful wedding. After the ceremony was over my daughter and son in law left the church in grand style with a horse drawn buggy and a driver dressed in a top hat and tails.
At the reception, tulle with tiny white lights was draped in a circle and there were elegant flower vases placed everywhere around the room. Behind the bride and groom table was a floral arch of red and white roses and green foilage and there were beautiful flower bouquets on the reception tables with silver sparkles scattered about. The reception tables twinkled even more with the silver tea light dove place card holders she selected. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. The men were given little key chains with the well known frog prince as a charm. The wholesale jewelry boxes for the bridesmaids had black velvet-lined interiors and were made of wood and sliver-plated. The date of the wedding and name of the happy couple were inscribed in the boxes. The thank you gift my daughter gave the girls was very warmly received. The affordable jewelry box I saw looked like an extremely expensive jewelry box! Each of the groomsmen received a set of wine gifts and their names etched in a tiny plaque. I thought that was pretty unique for a thank you gift.
Her wedding cake topper was a really unique little dream castle that really showed off the lovliness of their three tiered wedding cake. She even found a cake knife set that matched up with her storybook theme and champagne flutes to go with it. Many of her decorations and supplies were top of the line, but she came in well below where I had expected on their wedding budget. We offered to pay for the wedding, since we are the brides parents, but they both insisted they could do it themselves.
I cried as I watched them dance their first dance as husband and wife, it looked as if they were the only ones in the room. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. We had a fantastic time at the reception and the garter toss was unbelievably funny, with all the guys pushing and shoving each other out of the way so they could be the one to catch Cinderellas garter. Everything turned out perfect and my little girl got the kind of wedding and reception she always dreamed of. They are off on their honeymoon, and I’m certain that it will be every bit as fantastic as the wedding. She promised to tell me all about the great places they went to while on their honeymoon, as soon as she gets home.

Best Groomsmen Wedding Gifts on the Internet!

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

A friend of mine told me about a wedding website that had fantastic wedding accessories and reception supplies at a great low cost, so we checked it out. She spoke the truth, everything from wedding invitations to exquisite little thank you gifts for the guests that could save us quite a bit. I was surprised at all the great groomsmen gifts and bridemaids gifts they carry, as well as so many styles of wedding accessories for both ceremonies and receptions. Naturally, after getting a look at their inventory, I made the decision to order all my needed wedding supplies and decorations at their online store.
First of all, we decided to have a winter wonderland theme wedding since we were getting married in December, and I found so much to work with. The winter wonderland wedding bulletins were perfect for our invitations. While I was browsing through the flower basket and ring pillow selection, I discovered a great deal on a five piece set with a wedding guest book and pen, wedding garter and the flower girl basket and ring pillow. Not only did each piece match, but the price was more than reasonable. I was reading up on wedding ceremonies and that since throwing petals as the bride and groom leave the church may not be exceptable in many churches and couples are substituting bubbles in place of petals. So I ordered bottles of bubbles from this online shopping site I’m using and they also send you little bubble cards for each bottle.
You should see all the accessories I was able to get for our reception. I was able to find gifts for not only my bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy, but for everyone in our wedding party. With all the groomsmen wedding gifts that my fiance had to choose from, it was hard for him to make up his mind.
He got each of them a mug as their groomsman favors, with the word groomsman printed on it. Now we had a groomsman gift, gifts for my bridesmaids and everyone that was in our ceremony, so now, I needed to concentrate on what to buy for our guests. There were an awful lot of winter wonderland wedding favors to choose from for our reception. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. The glass candles had wintery snowflakes all over it. The votive candles came in adorable little wedding favor boxes with a lovely silver thank you tag attached.
The place card holders I chose were beautiful little snow ornaments that the guests can take home as a little momento. I found champagne flutes, cake knife set, and the most adorable whimsical wedding cake topper for a winter wonderland wedding. Since the cake topper I chose was one with the bride and groom on skis, I decided to make it look authentic by having the baker design the top layer of our cake as a mountain of snow. The cake really turned out nice and I made sure there were lots of pictures of it for my gorgeous winter wonderland wedding album. Right after we took care of the cake cutting, and my brother in law toasted us, we stepped out on the dance floor for our first dance together as husband and wife. This was like a dream come true, dancing around the room with my new husband as everyone watched.
The rest of the reception was just as perfect as the beginning, and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. The wedding groomsmen gifts and the bridesmaids gifts were a big hit. We also got quite a few compliments from our wedding guests about the decorations and the lovely wedding favors they received.
