Wedding day preparations are always an exhilarating experience, but the number of choices for the décor, gifts, and so on also makes it a somewhat frantic one. I know that when I tried to assist my daughter in planning her wedding, the biggest challenge was trying to get her to settle on one choice. The initial decision was just the overall genre of the wedding: something old-fashioned, or a trendier style of ceremony. She studied every possible variety that we could think of, and she just ended up getting more and more confused. Some of the options she kicked around were doing a gardening theme or a sand and surf theme. Ultimately, our new bride opted to go with a pretty conventional wedding. When she eventually made that decision, it allowed us to get the preparations underway.
The invites had been delivered, the banquet hall for the reception was booked, and the church was rented out. She had her gown and the wedding party attire was all taken care of, so mostly what we had to concentrate on now, was the reception supplies and decorations. In addition to finding a wedding guest book and a picture album, there were some other things that we had to pick out yet. There was no shortage of wedding guest books to pick from, and the decorations on a big percentage of them were absolutely beautiful. A substantial number of the sign-in books had wedding pens that went with them, and they were just as pretty. Our new bride discovered a six piece wedding set with rhinestones that had bows and satin boxes, both white, as we were nearing the end of our shopping. Along with a ring pillow and wedding garter, which were very attractive, was a charming flower basket and unity candle. This gorgeous satin set also included a wedding photo guest book that also matched perfectly. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
The last things to take care of was place card holders, a wedding cake topper, and gifts for the guests. Everything else was taken care of. She chose a lovely wedding cake topper with two doves made of glazed porcelain. That wedding cake topper will make a lovely keepsake. Next we went for the place card holders, and for those my daughter decided to go with little silver picture frames for all of her guests at the reception. The people at the reception would be able to use the frames once the dinner was over, and my daughter thought that was a something they’d like. She did alright picking out her wedding accessories and reception supplies. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The wedding ceremony was absolutely fantastic and the reception was gorgeously decorated and got a lot of positive comments. When the bride and groom did their first dance, it was a stunningly beautiful moment. We all did a lot of dancing that night, and I swear my feet still hurt, but it was all worth it, it was a wonderful event that I will remember forever. My own baby, now married, may have a baby of her own some day. Well, when that day comes, I know exactly where I’ll go to get the supplies and shower favors for the baby shower I’ll throw. Anything you need to plan, any kind of get-together, is on that site. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.
