I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. The presents and favors I got everyone were things that could be treasured for a lifetime. The gifts I bought were meant to be reminders of what an outstanding wedding day and night we had together. As far as gifts for our guests went, I made sure I gave them all practical favors that would also make great wedding keepsake boxes. Giving out favors that have no practical purpose always struck me as a useless thing to do. Otherwise, the recipient of the gift will most likely forget about it shortly after they get it. I did my best to make sure that the gifts handed out to our relatives and other loved ones were going to be remembered. So I chose bistro coffee mugs for each of our friends and family’s gift. I didn’t even have to worry about repackaging them because the containers they came in were so classy-looking already; all I did was put a decorative hang tag on every one of them.
Reception supplies and accessories were easy to find on the world wide web. The cake topper we got ‘took the cake,’ so to speak. I opted to pick out one that would be significant to my groom and I.
When we met for the first time, it was at a friends house and we were all engaged in a little friendly game of football on the back lawn.
