An AMAZING Selection of Groom Bride Gifts!

You get favors and gifts at wedding showers, bachelor parties, and bachelorette parties. You can get the future husband or wife a gift chosen from a lot of different options at these gatherings. A number of the gifts my husband and I got were rather remarkable. At our engagement party we got mostly cash in cards, which is also an awesome gift idea, but we got other things too that were really quite neat. We got baseball tickets, gift certificates, wedding champagne, and a lot of small things along those lines. A lot of our loved ones gave us presents, even though it was not required for engagement parties.
The guys at the bachelor party got my fiance a shirt that said ‘I survived my bachelor party, but I don’t remember how,’ along with some other crazy shirts and things. A mug with groom on it was another bride gift he got, along with a sun visor and set of wine bottles that were made for a man about to get married. He also got to keep the ball and chain they made him wear all night and an inflatable woman they gave him as gag gifts. The guys had other funny groom wedding gifts they gave him, to ad to the merriment of his bachelor party. The bride gifts I received at my bachelorette party were sweet, although some were meant as gag gifts too. I received a present with a big ribbon on top that turned out to be an elegant white evening bag made of satin with a crystal clasp on it. They put a pin and a shirt inside the bag that I had to wear for our night on the town, and there were some make-up and manicure accessories inside as well. I loved this pillow they gave me which had the word ‘tonight’ embroidered on a side, and then you turned it over and it read ‘not tonight’. It was definitely an unusual and funny throw pillow.
On the other hand, the bride and groom wedding gifts we got the reception were all more serious. We thought we might get some duplicate gifts, and we did, like a few blenders and a couple more toaster ovens than we really need, but that’s to be expected at such a large ceremony. We filled out a bridal registry and we received a food processor and china from that, along with some other things I had written down. My mother- and father-in-law gave us a bar side set and a pool table, and my husband thought it was absolutely wonderful, and has already planned a get together with the guys. My parents got us tickets to Greece for our honeymoon. We received a lot of wonderful gifts on our wedding day from our loving families and fantastic friends.
Most of all, our friends and family being at our wedding to share that magical experience with us was the greatest gift. They have shared so much with us, our last night of being single parties, our engagement party, and our wedding and reception. Being surrounded with great, supportive people like them is what makes life so much more enjoyable. It’s also great to have such wild and crazy friends in the mix to throw you such fantastic girls night out parties and bachelor parties. With friends like that around, your life will be anything but boring. The magnitude of our gratefulness for having them as friends, along with the most fantastic families, just cannot be expressed in something as small as a thank you note.

Cute Duck Baby Shower Favor!

Kids need bathtub toys, and Sesame Street’s Ernie even sang a song about one of the classics, a tune called ‘Rubber Duckie You’re the One.’ I wasn’t really sure about this theme at first until I checked out all the cute little accessories and all the possibilities of having duck wedding favors. They are really so cute and it was a lot better than I thought it would be with all the online shopping help I got for ideas. There are a lot of adorable little duck favors and decorations to be found on the internet for baby showers and even toddler birthday parties.
I was holding the shower in my rec room in the basement so I had plenty of room to set up indivdual tables to seat four guests at each. On one end of the room was a table for all the shower gifts and on the other side of the room I had a buffet style table set up with all kinds of finger foods, drinks and deserts, including an adorable little yellow duck shaped cake with the words baby girl on the bottom layer. On the wall I had a huge cut out of Daisy Duck and smaller cutouts of Donald, Mickey and the whole Mickey Mouse Gang.
I got pink picture frames with tiny ducks on the edges to use a place card holders for each person’s spot at a table. There were duck favor candles at each table too and on the buffet table were paper plates, cups and napkins all with little baby ducks on them and even the punch bowl was unique. I bought a bathtub for an infant that was in the form of a duck at a local retail place, and I put the punch bowl inside of it. When you looked at it, you just wanted to say, ‘aww, how sweet.’ I found an ice cube tray that made little duck ice cubes, so I put yellow water in them and froze them. I went all out on this duck themed shower.
Other than a few things that people at school suggested to me, I borrowed most of my ideas from things I saw online. That’s where I found such cute little duck shower favors, like the adorable little duck favor bookmarks and candle holders. Everyone thought they were so cute and they made super party gifts for the games we played too.
I filled a square tub with water and, prior to any guests arriving, I put a bunch of duck bath toys in it. On the bottom of the ducks I wrote numbers and as the guests arrived they each had to pick a duck out of the little pond. We gave out a prize for the person who had the winning number, which I pulled out of a hat a bit later during the shower. We also did the old game where you try to guess which person belongs to which baby picture. Everyone was asked to bring a baby picture of themselves and I put them all on a board, and hung it on the wall. All of the people at the shower got a good look at all of the pictures on the board, and then they sat down and attempted to guess who was in what picture. The duck baby shower favor went to the one who guessed accurately on the most pictures.
Everyone enjoyed themselves, and the new mommy picked up quite a pile of wonderul presents for her baby girl. I’m so glad I found this idea for the baby shower online. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but it turned out to be a really great baby shower. Going with the whole duck genre worked out swimmingly.

Amazing 8 Hour Energy Shot

In a time where Americans will go out of their way if it means they’ll spend less on gas, there is a booming new industry of energy drinks that costs 20 times as much per ounce as Coca Cola – energy shots.

A growing number of Americans are turning their backs to $3 cups of coffee, and picking up these $3 2-ounce energy shots – and most of them taste horrible.

The energy shot market is expected to double this year, to $700 million in sales – and Living Essentials will likely be responsible for over 80% of those sales, as they created the original product – the 5 Hour shot.

Other companies have sprung up, in an attempt to capture some of this new energy drink market – similar energy shots like 6 Hour, 7 Hour, and 8 Hour Energy are attempting to break into this growing new industry with their own products.

Though it sounds similar, 8 Hour Energy has raised the bar a little higher for the competition. Aside from caffeine, it includes Acai, Gogi, and Tahitian Noni – three incredibly popular berries, each known for their natural energizing and dietary benefits. Usually, these berries can only be attained by purchasing a $40 bottle of juice.

In addition to its improved ingredients, 8 Hour Energy has zero carbs or calories, and it tastes good!

“I’ve seen the 5 Hour ads plastered all over the media. But if people read the labels before they buy, I think they’ll go for 8 Hour Energy. It’s just a better quality product,” says Darin Steen, one of the top ranked health and fitness instructors in the world.

In a blind test conducted at the University of Florida, 9 out of 10 students preferred the 8 Hour shot over 5 Hour Energy. Another study gave out samples of the Mr Energy 8 Hour shot during finals week, and students returned with rave reviews.

“Wow… after taking the 8 Hour Energy, not only was I able to stay up to study for finals, I picked up a basketball game after! Without it, I probably wouldn’t have managed to do either,” laughed Troy Smith, a senior majoring in Finance.

“The 8 Hour Energy shot is amazing. I stayed energized and focused, and totally aced my final. It’s like time in a bottle,” said Stephanie Wilcox – a grad student at the Dentistry school.

Despite the massive 60 million dollar advertising budget of 5 Hour Energy, Bhelliom Enterprises, the creator of 8 Hour Energy, is confident their product will succeed due simply to its superior ingredients. “The ingredients speak for themselves,” says Bhelliom Enterprises’ CEO, Casey McCarthy.
