When my best friend informed me of a online shopping store for wedding accessories and supplies that could save us a little on the wedding expenses, I thought I’d give it a try. It’s true, reasonable prices and many accessories to choose from starting with wedding invitations right down to wedding favor gifts. I was surprised at all the great groomsmen gifts and bridemaids gifts they carry, as well as so many styles of wedding accessories for both ceremonies and receptions. Naturally, after getting a look at their inventory, I made the decision to order all my needed wedding supplies and decorations at their online store.
December was the month we planned on for our wedding date and I was determined to have a winter wonderland wedding, and with all the accessories they have to offer, I knew I’d have everything I needed to make it work. I thought it would cost a lot more than it did for the matching five piece set. I know, after reading a few wedding articles, that many churches won’t allow the tossing of petals for the bride and grooms departure and many couples have chosen bubbles to be blown as they exit the ceremony. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
The lovely accessories I ordered were unbelievable. We also ordered our gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl, ring boy and the rest of the wedding party. My fiance found quite a few gift ideas for cheap groomsmen gifts.
A mug was the choice for the groomsman favors that he choice and each mug said groomsman on it. We could cross off the list of things to buy as far as a groomsmen gift idea, my bridesmaids and the rest of the wedding party, so I could now choose thank you gifts for the guests. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. Every candle was packaged in a decorative favor box with a silver hang tag on them.
The place card holders I chose were beautiful little snow ornaments that the guests can take home as a little momento. I found champagne flutes, cake knife set, and the most adorable whimsical wedding cake topper for a winter wonderland wedding. Since the cake topper I chose was one with the bride and groom on skis, I decided to make it look authentic by having the baker design the top layer of our cake as a mountain of snow. I had many pictures of our wedding cake taken for my winter themed wedding picture album, it was so adorable. After we cut the cake and had our toast done by my super brother in law, it was time for our bride and groom dance. This was like a dream come true, dancing around the room with my new husband as everyone watched.
Everyone was having a fantastic time and this reception was perfection from beginning to end. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Many of the guests at the reception commented on how lovely the winter wedding reception was and how much they appreciated the lovely wedding favors.
