A few weeks ago I visited a co-workers marriage ceremony and party. The marriage ceremony was shocking and the bride couldn’t have been more fine-looking. I haven’t been to a marriage as breathtaking as this ever. they’d a fairy tale service and had the whole thing founded like it was the wedding of Cinderella and Prince Charming. With the exception of there was no nasty stepmother and stepsisters attending. The brides attire was even more like Cinderella with the glass slippers she was wearing. The decoration at the church were absolutely superb. The candles and red and white roses extremely complimented the stunning fairy tale décor in the place of worship. They conjointly had white tulle draped across each pew by the aisle and a protracted red carpet runner leading up to the altar. The ceremony had the whole thing a princess may wish to form her wedding day further special. As we followed the bride and groom outside we tossed pink and white rose petals to wish them well. You might tell they place a heap of effort in designing this wedding and reception.

I’m in the middle of coming up with my wedding ceremony and reception. I hope I will do half as good a job at designing this event as she did.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. It seems like a great way to escape for all the friends and family. There are also a great new wedding favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. I know it will be a lot of fun and enjoyment for everybody. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. Everybody will always remember this wedding. Our daughter’s wedding was so much fun, that I’m considering have a country western renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary.

I didn’t have as many problems planning an outside wedding as I thought I would. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Since we had the beauty of nature all around us, it wasn’t too expensive to decorate. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.

Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. I decided to go with artificial flowers because I didn’t want to have our wedding to be the target of a bee swarm. The only way you could tell that the flowers were artificial, was by touch, they were beautiful. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. You want to make sure you have plenty of citronella candles scattered about, and that the rest rooms are within walking distance, and make sure your frosting on your cake doesn’t melt in the heat.

As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. I had little park bench place card holders at each table setting, and little citronella votive candles in glass globes with a nice flower arrangement as our centerpieces. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding theme. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.

I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. Talk about the best wedding keepsake you can get. All of our guests were so impressed with our topper, they couldn’t stop talking about it. Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. So I finally made up my mind. I wanted a fairy tale wedding and reception.

The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated.
